FAQ
Q: Is there an age limit to renting an RV?
A: Yes. All drivers must be 25 years of age.
Q: Do I need a special license to drive an RV?
A: No. You can drive a Class A or Class C without having a special license.
Q: How does Insurance work?
A: You can contact your insurance company, and ask them if your plan covers a motorhome you are renting. Make sure to be clear you are renting a motorhome and not purchasing it. You will need to provide us with a Binder from your insurance company showing the motor home you are renting has full coverage for the dates you have it. If your insurance company does not offer insurance for a rented RV, it is required that you purchase the third party insurance that we offer. It is required that insurance is purchased or proof provided 48 hours prior to departure.
Q: What is required to tow a rented trailer?
A: In the state of Washington, all vehicles towing a rented trailer are required by law to be equipped with electronic brakes and a brake controller.
Q: Can we go to Canada?
A: Yes. You can go to Canada, Alaska, and anywhere within the Continental US. The only travel restriction is NO travel into Mexico. No special documents are required in order to take the RV into Canada. We license all RVs to be able to travel into Canada and you are automatically provided all necessary documentation.
Q: Where do I park my car?
A: Each rental includes free parking for 2 vehicles on our fenced lot. You must remove all valuables from your vehicle and maintain insurance while the vehicle is parked.
Q: Can I take my pet?
A: The only pet approved to be in the RV is a dog. You must speak with us first, and we must provide you consent to take your pet. We ask all pet owners to follow the "invisible pet" rule. This means when you return the RV there is no sign a pet has been in there. We ask that you are courteous of the next renter and don't allow your dog to urinate or destroy anything in the RV. We collect a $150 pet deposit per pet, and if the RV is returned with no sign of your pet (i.e. pet hair, urine, scratch marks) you get your $150 back.
Q: What training options are available?
A: We do a thorough walk through with you so that you have time to get to know your unit. We also have training videos available on our website and on a thumb drive in the unit to help you walk through basic operations. If you would like the opportunity, we do offer a test drive prior to your departure to give you a chance to get the feel of the RV.
Q: How many miles can I travel?
A: As far as your heart desires! While there are a certain amount of miles included in your rental, anything over 100 miles per night will be charged by our tiered mileage structure. There are 3 tiers: $.49, $.69, and $.99. (i.e. With a 3 night rental you will receive 300 free miles. The next 300 miles you travel will be $.49 per mile. The following 300 will be $.69 per mile. Any mileage traveled beyond that will be at $.99.)
Q: Can I drop off the RV on holidays?
A: We are not open on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. We do not offer pick up on these days, and if you need to drop the RV off on these days, you are responsible for the RV until we return to the office on the first working day after the holiday. This means that if the RV gets vandalized or broken into, you are responsible.
Q: What happens if I break down?
A: We hope this doesn't happen since our RVs are brand new and we are very detailed in our service, but if it does, we have a help line for you to call. We will determine what course of action to take depending on the problem you are having.
