4th of July Adventure This Year

RVs Northwest wishes everyone a safe and fun 4th of July! We have taken the time to list a few fireworks spots and activities to make your 4th of July Adventure even more fun this year!

4th of July Fireworks Drive-In Fireworks

There will be no fireworks downtown Spokane at Riverfront Park this year but there is a fantastic alternative. Much like drive-in movies in the 1950’s the 4th of July Drive-In shows will be pretty spectacular. There are a bunch of options to watch fireworks that help improve community safety. Tailgate your RV camper at these locations to celebrate your freedom!

Spokane, WA options:

  • Dwight Merkel Sports Complex. (North)
  • Ferris High School. (South)
  • Avista Stadium. (Central)
  • Plante’s Ferry Sports Stadium. (Valley)

All the Spokane area parking lots will open at 9pm and the firework shows all start at 10pm. The firework display will be like Spokane Indian baseball game fireworks with about a 6-minute long duration with a grand finale. The displays will have on-site bathrooms and it is the only exception to leave your vehicle. Masks are required for all firework displays but it will still be a great time to celebrate. Idaho options:

  • Coeur d’Alene Parade modified to allow social distancing and other precautions.
  • Caldwell, ID firework show in Brother’s Park proceeds as planned with social distancing.
  • Cascade, ID firework show will proceed as planned with social distancing.
  • McCall, ID fireworks are cancelled but there are other community events with social distancing.

National Broadcasts:

  • Watch Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks from home at 5pm on NBC.
  • Watch Boston Fireworks from home at 5pm on Bloomberg TV.
  • Watch A Capitol Fourth from home at 5pm on PBS.
